I've been looking everywhere a high quality Columbia costume from the time warp scene. The only ones I can find are the officially licensed ones and they are extremely low quality.
I may not necessarily buy, so cost is not an issue. Where can I find a high quality one?
The only way you are going to get a high quality Columbia costume is if you A) have one custom made or B) If you buy someone’s used custom made costume or C) If you make it yourself.

Liz makes REALLY GREAT Columbia corsets. She doesn’t currently have any listed in her ebay store. You may want to contact her and ask about pricing.
As for the shorts, you need to find a pair of black satin shorts and sew metallic ribbon on them. This website describes them in great detail:
The gold sequin jacket is going to be a bit more difficult if you do not want to make it yourself. I’ve been seeing them more often than usual on ebay during the past few months. Of course, there are none listed right now. I recommend keeping an eye on ebay. You can also try contacting people who make RHPS costumes.

The top hat shouldn’t be too difficult. You just need to find a top hat and cover it with gold sequin fabric and add a black band around it.

my advice would be to find a good local seamstress or costumer and have one made. that’s really the only way you are going to get a good quality one unless you get REALLY lucky on ebay. make sure you bring a lot of pictures and are very specific when you tell the seamstress what you want. check out the link for the rocky horror costume list from the previous post, it includes really detailed description of the costumes. cosmosfactory.org is a good source for pictures too.
